Description
A coyote glows in the evening sun. I can watch coyotes hunt all day, especially when there's a pack or a mating pair. In this location, they have quite a large salt marsh to search so it's difficult to know where they'll pop up next. However, if you spend enough time watching them, as I have, you learn that there is a pattern to their search, even down to the best times to see them in certain locations. On this day, I arrived before sunrise and didn't see a single one until about 3pm when, in the distance, I could see four of them grouping together to begin their sunset hunt. they gradually got closer as the sun went down and I was able to capture this shot.
